Clay Monotype is a printmaking technique using liquid clay slip, as the paint.  The slip
is colored with pure pigments and applied to a leather hard clay slab using various
direct painting and transfer methods.  When the image looks complete, it is transferred
to a non-woven fabric substrate with a wooden roller.
The Clay Monotype is archival and one of a kind.
My abstract compositions are intuitive, drawing from conscious and
unconscious imagery about current global issues.
