| There are times when I need a break from the structure and pressure of producing art for shows and galleries, but I still have the need to create. I may write poetry or work on my websiteor make greeting cards of my artwork. My favorite break in routine is to take out scraps of paper, fabric,recycled items and other materials I have on hand and create an assemblage or mixed media piece. Sometimes it is a auction project for the group that I founded in 1993, Alameda Women Artists. |
